In 2024, we celebrated 50 years of IBL. A milestone achieved by leading ideations, innovations, extensive marketing and most importantly producing the best in class quality products. 18,250 days of believing in ourselves, learning at every stage and improvising on human resources. We at IBL believe that anything can be achieved if we put our minds and hearts in it. An achievement which was not possible without the human touch of many over the years.
UNLEASHING EFFICIENCY. IGNITING PROGRESS.
INDUSTRIAL BOILERS LTD., SHAPING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR THE PAST 5 DECADES.
Beyond just a motto, IBL’s ethos has long been about ‘SUSTAINABILITY’ as a company, but more importantly as a community. As our company has expanded across regions, so has our community of IBL employees, suppliers and customers – united by a love for quality products.
A crucial part of the preservation of our global community is protecting the planet which we inhabit. As a global business, we feel it is our corporate responsibility to ensure that we are safeguarding the planet for future generations, through the continuous assessment of our environmental impact, and the implementation of more sustainable practices.
We have always been driven by a spirit of ambitious innovation and a strong bond with our partners. We think there is much more to share than products, materials, and technologies. We wish to share our values and traditions. We share the idea of a great team, in which everyone pulls in the same direction.
Late Homai Engineer
Chairperson Emeritus
Somewhere around 1860, Mr. Bomanshaw Homavazir established an engineering workshop at Hubli (Now in Karnataka). With the help of his five sons, the company started off as Engineer and Sons. Skilled Technicians as they were, their name spread far and wide as expert engineers and soon Bomanshaw and his sons were flooded with work from the Ginning factories and they developed expertise in repairing Crank shafts of Engines.
After the demise of Bomanshaw, three of the brothers moved to Bombay and started Boiler related businesses. One of them, Naoroji Engineer started ‘Empress Welding and Repairing Works’ named after Her Highness, the Queen of England. He imported Boilers in knockdown condition from England and installed and commissioned them in Indian industries.
